I joined a Team Glow cycling weekend organised by one of our very fun and efficient ride leaders Helen Pidd. Instead of bike packing, we had our base in Kirby Stephen at an independent and very well run hostel.
Manchester to host cycling’s coolest consumer show
Thousands of Manchester’s cycling community will congregate in May for a major urban cycling event that is coming to the city for the first time. SPIN – The Cycling Festival, is the go-to event for both road and city cycling enthusiasts, and will take place in Manchester from 6-8 May 2016 at the Victoria Warehouse, off Chester Road in Old Trafford.
For a free ticket please leave your e-mail address as a comment and I can collate them all. You will then be provided with a code via e-mail closer to the time.
Everyone with a Garmin knows that they can be a bit tricky to work out so I made a little video that shows you how to plot and upload a route, where to put it and which format it should be in.
I am very happy to have Team Glow use my photographs on their updated website that has gone live today!
I love that what people now see upon entering the site is exactly what sums up Team Glow;
the camaraderie, the support, the fun!
My friend Michał Plech is an ex-London Cycling Messenger turned Mechanical Engineer and Bike Frame Builder. This year he is going to be racing for the first time, in The Transcontinental.
